Hotel Vandivort has been that place lately. I photographed a recent engagement session there and immediately knew it wouldn’t be my last. Since sharing that shoot, more couples have asked to recreate the look and feel — moody, romantic, and timeless all at once.
What makes this location so special is the contrast. There’s the luxe indoor lighting and dark, cozy corners. But step outside, and you’ve got Springfield’s urban heartbeat — brick walls, old alleyways, rooftop glow. It’s editorial without being overdone.
