The calendar turns, the world exhales, and we step into a new year with hearts that have been shaped by all the moments that came before it. I always find something quietly sacred about the first day of January—the way it holds both reflection and hope in the same breath. A tender pause. A resetting of the soul. A moment to look back, and a moment to look forward.
Today, I’m sitting in so much gratitude.
Gratitude for every family who invited me into their memories.
For every couple who trusted me to document the start of forever.
For every baby belly, every newborn cry, every toddler giggle, every tear held back on a wedding aisle, and every quiet breath between two people wildly in love.
I am endlessly humbled that so many of you chose me to tell your stories. It is the deepest honor of this work—standing witness to your real, raw, unscripted moments and turning them into something that can be held forever. This year stretched me, grew me, challenged me, and reminded me why I love what I do: because photographs are proof that we lived. Proof that we loved. Proof that the little things were actually the big things all along.
To everyone who stood in front of my lens in 2025—thank you.
To those who have supported my work in ways unseen—sharing, referring, cheering from the background—thank you.
To those I haven’t met yet—I can’t wait to learn your story.
I’m stepping into this new year with an open heart, ready for whatever it holds. Ready to slow down, breathe deeper, pay attention, and keep creating work that means something. Work that honors the beauty of the everyday and the extraordinary of the ordinary.
Here’s to another year of storytelling.
Here’s to more love, more growth, more connection, more truth.
Here’s to the moments that will soon become memories.
Happy New Year, friends. I’m so grateful you’re here.
